On January 25 2025, the Davao del Sur State College ROTC Unit commenced its 3rd basic formation for the second semester SY 2024-2025 at the DSSC main campus. The activity began with the checking of attendance, basic drills and inspection of ranks led by the Cadet Officers.
The formation provided a valuable opportunity for the cadet officer to hone their leadership skills by effectively commanding and guiding their fellow cadets. Following the initial drills, the cadets diligently worked on platoon organization, ensuring precise alignment and smooth transition. The highlight of the training was the execution of 21 tubing under the guidance of ROTC Instructors, the cadets pushed their physical and mental limits, demonstrating resilience and determination.

𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐧 DSSC NSTP Director, 𝐒𝐒𝐠 𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐃 𝐃𝐮𝐚 (𝐀𝐆𝐒) 𝐏𝐀, the DSSC ROTC Unit Chief Clerk and also to our 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟, 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 (𝐆𝐌𝐀𝐬), 𝟏𝐂𝐋'𝐬 & 𝟐𝐂𝐋'𝐬 of the DSSC ROTC Unit for their support in making this activity possible.
