In line with our efforts to advocate and promote the ROTC Program to academe sector, COL REANDREW P RUBIO INF (GSC) PA, Director, 1105CDC, 11RCDG, RESCOM, PA and at the same time the Commandant of the Jose Maria College Foundation Inc (JMCFI) ROTC Unit and LTC BENIE L INOCENCIO PA (RES), Tac-O, JMCFI ROTC Unit accompanied by Mr Rondet Roncesvalles, NSTP Director, JMCFI paid a courtesy call to Dr Jose Maria S.E. Gonzales, President, JMCFI at JMCFI Compound Sasa, Davao City on January 21, 2025. During the said activity, they discussed regarding the updates on the implementation of ROTC Program, No To Hazing, No To Verbal Abuse, participation to Philippine ROTC Games (PRG) 2025 and Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2025, and strictly impose discipline among the Cadets at all times. Likewise, Dr Gonzales also shared his past experiences on mandatory ROTC and believed that ROTC is an effective way of instilling discipline. Further, COL RUBIO and the members of his training staff are committed to institute reforms and initiatives to make the ROTC more relevant.
