The 1105CDC, 11RCDG, RESCOM, PA in coordination with the Jose Maria College Foundation Inc (JMCFI) facilitated the Joint Closing Ceremony of Basic and Advance ROTC Cadets at JMCFI Compound Sasa, Davao City with Dr. Felix C. Chavez Jr, JMCFI School President as Keynote Speaker on June 07, 2024.
The activity was also attended by the ROTC training staff headed by its Commandant COL REANDREW P RUBIO INF (GSC) PA, ENS EFREN JOYSON CALCITAS PN (JMCFI ROTC graduate/PMA Class 2024), LTC RODRIGO L RIVAMONTE GSC PA (RES), Commanding Officer, 1105th Ready Reserve Infantry Bn, parents, guardians, and other guests.
LTC RIVAMONTE also led the Oath Taking of the ROTC graduates for Incorporation into the Reserve Force, AFP. Further, Dr. Chavez expressed his full support to the ROTC Program and in favor for the mandatory ROTC as an effective way of instilling discipline, promote camaraderie, and patriotism.
