As part of the Reserve Force Development particularly on the ROTC Program, the 1105CDC, 11RCDG, RESCOM, PA led by COL REANDREW P RUBIO INF (GSC) PA and the Samal Island City College (SICC) headed by Dr Jose Ersante M Fuertes facilitated the Joint Closing Ceremony of Basic and Advance ROTC Program held at SICC Compound Brgy Penaplata, Samal Dist, IGACOS with City Mayor Al David T Uy as Guest of Honor and Speaker ably represented by Engr Matthew Arig III, Asst City Administrator on June 13, 2024.
The said event was also attended by COL JOSUE M CABERTO MI (GSC) PA, Group Commander 11RCDG who gave inspirational message and led the Oath Taking of ROTC graduates for Incorporation into the Reserve Force, Dr Rey M Navarro, Dean of College, LTC HAROLD A HO (INF) PA, Asst Commandant/CO TF SAMAL, faculty members and staff, parents, guardians and other guests.
A total of 325 ROTC Cadets graduated in the said program which aims to develop and train the youth for defense preparedness, inculcate ideals of patriotism, and other related endeavors in service of the nation and respond to the needs of their respective communities.
