The 1102nd Community Defense Center, 11RCDG, RESCOM, PA headed by Col Julito P. Garay, Director together with the Reservist personnel of 1102nd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion participated in the 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧-𝐮𝐩 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 activity held at Sitio Cabugan, Brgy Busaon, Tagum City, Davao del Norte today, June 21, 2024.
It was an initiative of the Provincial Government of Davao del Norte through the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office that was participated by the personnel and staff of different local government agencies in the province.
The activity aims to encourage the communities to participate in mitigating measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through tree planting and help improve the water quality in the province by ensuring a clean environment, especially near the rivers and tributaries along with the coastal areas.
