Malita, Davao Occidental – In line with the Reserve Force Development Program (RFD) Troops of 1106th (Davao Occidental) Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion under the Command of LTC CLAUDE P BAUTISTA (MNSA) PA (RES) completed the four (4) days Marksmanship Training.
The training was divided into two phases, the first phase is the classroom instruction and dry firing exercise held at Headquarters 73rd IB, 10ID, PA gymnasium and the second phase is the live firing exercise held at Malita Firing Range, Sitio Liboo, Barangay Felis, Malita Davao Occidental.
The objective of said training is to develop to the individual Reservist the necessary skills in marksmanship, correct shooting techniques and habits to fire a Rifle Cal 5.56 M16A1 accurately and to build confidence, knowledge and skills required to fire a weapon and hit the enemy in combat.
A total of one hundred (105) Reservist from 1106th RRIBN participated the said training. Overall, the training was successfully culminated on 15 June 2024, under the close supervision of 1106th (Davao Occidental) Community Defense Center, 11th Community Defense Group, Reserve Command Philippine Army led by COL CRISANTO C CALIT OS (GSC) PA the CDC Director.
