The RAATI was conducted by the following objective: To motivate, train, organize, and mobilize students for national defense preparedness, including disaster preparedness and capacity building for risk-related situations. One innovation was the orientation of AFP Regular units on the implementation of the ROTC program in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), making them aware of the forthcoming challenges related to the manpower requirements for ROTC administrators and instructors for the revival of mandatory ROTC.
As a result of the inspection, the Davao Oriental State University (DORSU) ROTC Unit was adjudged as the Champion, achieving 99.04% out of six activated ROTC units. The Davao del Sur State University (DSSC) ROTC Unit also emerged as Champion among the affiliated units with a score of 98.83%.
The different College and University Presidents and its representatives have expressed their profound gratitude to the 11RCDG RAATI team. They recognized RAATI as one of the major deliverables of the ROTC program and an effective way of assessing the overall performance of ROTC units. COL BAUTISTA also appreciated the efforts of the HEIs for their active support of the ROTC program. "I would like to commend and congratulate all of you for the successful conduct of this year's RAATI through the supervision and administration of the 11RCDG under the leadership of COL CABERTO," Bautista said.
