𝟏𝟏𝐑𝐂𝐃𝐆 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐒𝐏𝐌𝐂 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐠 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 |
Davao City – As part of our continuing stakeholders’ engagement, the 11th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, Philippine Army under the leadership of COL JOSUE M CABERTO MI (GSC) PA attended the Flag Raising Ceremony at Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC), JP Laurel Ave, Bajada, Davao City on August 19, 2024.
One of the highlights of the activity was the awarding of military medals, plaque, and Certificates of Recognition to reservist personnel and staff of SPMC in recognition of their significant contribution to the 11RCDG mission and of the Reserve Force Development. The activity was also attended and witnessed by the Officers, CDC Directors, Enlisted Personnel of 11RCDG, 10th CMO Bn personnel led by LTC MARY ANN P MARTINEZ AGS (GSC) PA, SPMC officials, and staff headed by Dr. Ricardo B. Audan, MD, FPAFP, DPA, Medical Center Chief II of SPMC.
A total of ten (10) reservist personnel from SPMC received Military Commendation Medals, one received the Gawad sa Kaunlaran Medal, and nine staff members were awarded Certificates of Recognition, and Plaque of Appreciation. Dr. Audan expressed his gratitude to the 11RCDG for these honors and acknowledged the recognition given to the SPMC staff.
On the other hand, COL CABERTO expressed his gratitude to SPMC as one of the active stakeholders and partners in the conduct of Serbisyo Caravans, training, and Blood Donation Activities, and facilitating free medical care for the reservists of the Davao Region. “There will be more partnerships and collaboration in the future between the 11RCDG and SPMC, all in the name of service to God, country, and people”, Caberto said.
