Achieving a 99.4% overall rating, the Regional Annual Administrative Technical Inspection (RAATI) team lauded Davao Oriental State University's (DORSU) Reserved Officer Training Corps (ROTC) as they successfully underwent an intensive yearly inspection held yesterday at the DOrSU Grandstand and Oval Track, May 16.
RAATI is an annual inspection that allows the cadets and cadettes to experience the actual operation of basic soldiery discipline and measure the degree of administrative efficiency, training management proficiency, quality of training, and education attained by the corps of cadets.
This year's tactical inspection was headed by RAATI team chairman COL ROMEO N BAUTISTA III INF (GSC) PA, Assistant Division Commander for Reservist and Retirees Affairs, 10ID, PA, who ushered the assessment of the level of quality training attained by ROTC Cadets in DOrSU Unit along with 10 other evaluators.
With their snappy military prowess, DOrSU-ROTCU excelled in demonstrating administrative inspection, ceremonial parade, rank inspection, operation order writing, map reading, assembly and disassembly of rifles and pistols, company drill, and method of
instructions, small unit tactics, and field demonstrations.
DOrSU President, Dr. Roy Ponce expressed his gratitude to the entire force behind DOrSU-ROTCU and commended everyone involved for the remarkable 99.4%, the highest overall rating so far for this year's RAATI. |Kyrie Jacky Sobrecarey
