11RCDG Reservists receive the Gawad sa Kaunlaran and Military Commendation Medals
Outstanding Reservists from 1102nd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (11RRIBn) under the supervision of 11th Regional Community Defense Group (11RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army received the Gawad sa Kaunlaran and Military Commendation Medals at Headquarters, 1102RRIBn in Mankilam, Tagum City on November 5, 2023. The awarding ceremony which was conducted during the monthly mustering was presided by Col. Julito P. Garay, Director of 1102nd Community Defense Center (CDC) and was attended by 141 Reservists.
During the program, the Reservists also participated in weapon familiarization training. The said activity aims to enhance the defense posture of the Reserve Force and to enhance the competence and skills of the Reservists in preparation for future integration into the Regular Force during crisis such rebellion, invasion and natural calamities.
